About me

As the Head of Strategy & Comms for Social Purpose at ITV, it was my job to shape how the business used its platforms to inspire positive change in the wider world. We encouraged over 100 million people to take action to improve their physical and mental health, nudged ITV into the top 2% of companies worldwide for climate change performance and raised record-breaking donations for UNICEF and the Disasters Emergency Committee - a total of more than £30 million in 2022. 

One of my personal highlights was overseeing a change in direction for the award-winning Britain Get Talking campaign, partnering with the charities Mind and Young Minds, to focus on the mental health crisis being faced by teenagers in the UK. In its first month, it prompted 9.1 million to have a conversation to improve their mental wellbeing.

More than 20+ years in advertising has taught me how brands and businesses work and how to engage and influence target audiences - be they external or internal.

 

Being able to apply these skills to doing good is a real privilege.
